Boil Water Advisory In Affect After Water Main Break

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Police reported a water main break at around 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

The whole intersection of Kilgore Road and Lovers Lane has been shut down since Saturday morning.
Now, Kalamazoo Public Services has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for the immediate area south of Kilgore Rd. and Lovers Lane. The water system experienced a reduction in water pressure.

The impacted area consists of Loy Norrix High School and the office complex on Trestlebridge Drive.

Municipal water customers in the affected area may use bottled water for consumption or boil their tap water for 1 minute prior to use for drinking or other ingestion.
