(WEST MICHIGAN) — A potent spring snow storm moved just to the south of West Michigan and brought heavy snow to Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Areas of light to moderate snow will continue through this morning. Less than an inch of accumulation could be possible in the next few hours along the Michigan/Indiana border with lesser amounts of snow possible the farther north you travel.
This large storm system will move east Monday afternoon but chances for some light isolated snow flurries will be possible for Monday afternoon and evening. Accumulations are not expected north of I-94 and many areas will not see much more than a few snow flakes. Cooler temperatures and breezy conditions will continue through Tuesday which will make it feel cooler than the already well below average temperatures. Cooler temperatures and snow will quickly move out by Wednesday and warming will continue. Temperatures will warm into the upper 40’s and even low 50’s by Friday.
