Yet Another Cold Day In A Cold Month

WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — It was yet another cold and cloudy day in West Michigan in what has been a pretty cold month. This map shows high temperatures today were in the upper 30s to low 40s, about ten degrees below normal for this time of year.

The entire month has been cold as well. As of Monday, Grand Rapids is running 110 total degrees below normal, or an average of 4.4º/day. There have only been five days this month with above normal temperatures. In Muskegon, the deficit is 94 total degrees, or an average of  3.8º/day.

The high temperature so far this month has been 53º in Grand Rapids and 50º in Muskegon. Both locations had high temperatures in the 80s last March.
