ALLENDALE, Mich – Developers have started a major renovation project on Grand Valley State University’s Allendale Campus.
The renderings show what the James H. Zumberge Library will look like once the project is completed.
The building was erected in 1969 with a distinct mid-century feel. The renovation will add floor space, putting the building at more than 90,000 square feet.
The renovation will allow GVSU to consolidate several departments near the center of campus, freeing up classroom space in other buildings.
The Wolverine Building Group is handling the construction. The project should be complete by the Spring of 2014.
