Wednesday Forecast: Improving Rest of the Week

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After a mix of rain, sleet, and snow Tuesday afternoon, weather conditions will settle down for the rest of this week.

Drier air has allowed skies to clear overnight, which will lead to a fairly sunny start to Wednesday for much of West Michigan.  However, with cool air still in place, clouds will likely redevelop at times into the afternoon.

More sunshine is expected Thursday and Friday, which will help to push temperatures from the low 40s Wednesday to near 50° by Friday afternoon.  Average highs are right around 50° for the end of March.

However, cool air will return again behind a system early next week, and that may bring a return of some snow showers Monday into Tuesday.
