Volunteers Become Storm Spotters In Battle Creek

(BATTLE CREEK) — Over one-hundred volunteers showed up Saturday morning in Battle Creek to learn how to become storm spotters. The Skywarn program is a collaboration between Emergency Managers and the National Weather Service aimed at training the public on how to identify and properly notify law enforcement and meteorologists.

There are still a few classes available in West Michigan if you are interested in becoming Skywarn certified.
