Cause of Fire at Vacant Home in Lee Township Under Investigation

LEE TOWNSHIP, Mich – The cause of a fire at a vacant home in Lee Township late Monday evening remains under investigation.

A passing driver spotted flames at the home along 104th Avenue near 50th Street around 9:30 p.m. and called 911 for assistance.

Crews at the scene tell FOX17 the home was vacant, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Nobody was hurt in the fire, though there was significant damage to the structure.

Crews started to clear the scene of the fire around 11:15 p.m.
