goodwillGRAND RAPIDS, Mich. —  Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids is pleased to announce the opening of a temporary store in Jenison at 240 Chicago Drive.  Goodwill’s permanent store in Jenison is undergoing significant remodeling.  The temporary Goodwill store and donation center located in the former ABC Warehouse building will be open from 9:00am – 8:00pm Mondays through Saturdays and 11:00 – 6:00pm on Sundays.

“We are glad to be able to offer the Jenison community a convenient location to both shop and donate while remodeling our permanent location.  The remodeled store will include an updated sales floor for shoppers and a drive thru donation drop,” says Chief Marketing & Communications Officer Jill Wallace.  “Our goal is to create a pleasant shopping experience and also make the process of donating to Goodwill as smooth as possible.  Goodwill staff will assist customers with their donations at the new drive thru, as well as provide donors with receipts for their tax-deductible donations.”

Goodwill’s permanent store location at 344 Baldwin Street in Jenison is slated to re-open in the summer of  2013.
