2 Motorcycles Collide In Serious Accident

VERGENNES TWP., Mich.- Kent County Sheriff’s Deputies are currently on the scene of a serious accident in Vergennes Township. It happened just before midnight on Friday on 2 mile road just east of Parnell road.

Deputies say two motorcycles collided head-on and both drivers have life-threatening injuries.

One driver, 22-year-old Beau Heimer from Lowell Township , is suffering both head and leg injuries. The other,  21-year-old Anthony Larkin from Vergennes Township , is suffering arm injuries. Both were transported to Spectrum Downtown.

Neither of the motorcyclists were wearing helmets and alcohol is believed to be a factor.

Aeromed was called in to transport both victims.

The crash is still under investigation.
