Fenwick House Fire; Total Loss For Family

FENWICK, Mich. — Flames engulfed a home early Saturday morning, displacing a whole family.

The fire happened at 6201 West Bricker Road in Fenwick, according to Ionia County Dispatch.

Investigator’s say the fire killed the occupant’s baby ducks, but no word on the condition of the family.

They were able to get out of the home at around 2 a.m.

According to Ionia County Dispatch, the house is a total loss and nearby roads will be closed for the next couple hours.

Investigators are working on the cause of the fire and Redcross is taking care of the family.
