WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — Even though it now appears temperatures in the 70s won’t make it as far north as Grand Rapids as we had thought for nearly a week, not all of West Michigan is missing out on the warm air.
This map shows current temperatures. The areas in yellow indicate where the temperature is around 70º. We had an e-mail from a FOX 17 viewer in Portage, where the current temperature is 68º. This is the second day in a row of near-70º in these areas.
South of Michigan it’s even warmer. At 4pm, South Bend, Ind. was at 71º, while Indianapolis was at 80º.
