Power Knocked Out In 4 Counties

CARSON CITY, Mich. — More than 1,000 Consumers Energy customers found themselves without electricity in four counties Wednesday night.

The power outage began at 6:30 p.m. and affected 1,191 customers in Clinton, Gratiot, Ionia and Montcalm counties surrounding Carson City in southeastern Montcalm County.

Consumers has a crew on the scene working to fix the problem. There is no estimated time of restoration yet.
