GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Looking for something to do in this “Wet Michigan” today? Well, you’re in luck because all four of the major downtown museums will be free of charge!

On April 21, the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM), the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, the Grand Rapids Public Museum, and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum are welcoming free admission to each institution from noon to 5 p.m.

Sponsored by Amway, this long-day event will be placing volunteers at each of the four museums and provide family friendly activities at the Amway tent located outdoors on GRAM’s Wege Plaza.

Guests will receive a “passport” at any of the four museums downtown or at the Amway tent, which allow you to win sweet prizes! All you need to do is get your passport stamped to mark off a visit at each institution. Visitors can then show their passport to the Amway tent to see what they win based on the number of stamps throughout the day.

Amway will also be providing Zumba dance breaks at their tent and other activities throughout the day.

“Museums Free 4 All is another great reason to go out and explore the many cultural experiences in Grand Rapids museums offer”, said Nathalie Thomas, Communications Coordinator at GRAM.

Free  trolleys will also be running from 12p.m.- 6p.m. on Sunday, with a trolley stop near each museum location.
