GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – (FOX 17) Clear skies this morning allowed for a beautiful picture to be taken from space. The Canadian Astronaut orbiting Earth in the International Space Station brings us another beautiful picture of Michigan from space. The picture posted this morning on his twitter account was taken just as the sun was coming up, and pictures the state sideways. The Astronaut has photographed West Michigan multiple times from space including a picture not too long ago displaying the “Grand Rapids”.

The Grand River continues to rise to record levels Sunday, and even NOAA River Observers are having difficulty measuring the flood levels. Here is a link to the most up to date flood levels and forecast: http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=grr
