WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — The month of April will go down in the books as cold and wet across West Michigan.

  • GRAND RAPIDS: The high temperature was 78º, set on the 30th. The low temperature was 22º on the 2nd and 3rd. The average temperature was 44.6º, which was 3.2º below normal. The precipitation total was 11.10″, which was 7.75″ above normal and the wettest April on record. In addition, it was the third wettest month on record in Grand Rapids. The snowfall total was 0.7″, and this is 1.1″ below normal.
  • MUSKEGON: The high temperature was 81º, set on the 30th. The low temperature was 21º on the 2nd and 3rd. The average temperature was 43.7º, which was 2.7º below normal. The precipitation total was 7.43″, which was 4.52″ above normal. The snowfall total was a trace, which is 2.3″ below normal.
  • KALAMAZOO: The high temperature was 78º, set on the 30th. The low temperature was 20º on the 2nd. The average temperature was 48.7º, which was 2.7º below normal. The precipitation total was 6.25″, which was 3.17″ above normal. The snowfall total was 0.0″, and this is 1.4″ below normal.
