LEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who is said to be mentally impaired and suffers from heart issues.

William Joseph Loveless was reported missing from his residence on Baseline Road in Lee Township on April 29 by a roommate.  He is 44 years old, 5’2″ tall, and weighs 115 pounds.  He is described as having short red hair, hazel eyes, and a cleft lip with a speech impediment.

Loveless was last seen wearing a red and black striped hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.  He was also carrying two white, burlap feed bags.

There is a concern for his safety, because he is in need of medication for his heart condition and typically returns home before nightfall.

A quick background check reveals that Loveless does have a criminal record, and is a registered sex offender.  His crimes were committed in the late 1990s, and he has been compliant with the registry system.  Police say he is not a danger to public safety.

Anyone with information on his potential location is asked to call the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office at (269)-673-3899.
