BATTLE CREEK, Mich. —  The missing Battle Creek teen, Xavier Wilson, was found in the company of parolee Chris Mazur in the Monroe area.

The Battle Creek Police Department announced Thursday afternoon that Mazur has been placed into custody on the parole detainer and Wilson is being transported back to his residence.

From Wednesday evening – Police announced that they were attempting to locate Xavier Chase Wilson, who police said is 16 but has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old. The teenager is described as a white male standing 5-feet-1, thin with blond hair and a tattoo of his initials “XCW” on his right forearm.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

The teen left his residence at 5 p.m. April 26 and was last seen in the company of Chris Mazur on April 28 in the Battle Creek area. Mazur is currently a Calhoun County parolee and there has been a parole violation detainer issued against him.

Police said it is believed that Wilson is with Mazur voluntarily and there is no evidence that Wilson is in danger. Police are asking for the public’s help due to Wilson’s restricted mental capacity.
