Two Young Girls Found After Wandering Off In Wyoming

WYOMING, Mich. — Two young girls were found safe after leaving on their own Thursday evening in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Police Department told FOX 17 NEWS that two girls wearing school uniforms “wandered off” in the area of Godfrey and Lee streets in Wyoming. A Michigan State Police helicopter was in the area and was assisting with searching for the girls.

The two young girls were found safe after going to a neighbor’s house scared and crying, and asking for a ride to an uncle’s house, and were taken home at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
