GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – With the beautiful weather in West Michigan lately, it’s even more exciting to venture to the opening of the outdoor portion of the new downtown market in Grand Rapids.
Even though the entire project will not be completed until August, the outdoor market is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 1p.m. Saturday.
About 70 vendors will be offering their fresh fruits and veggies, along with plenty of other produce. The outdoor section will also be open from May to this upcoming fall on Saturdays and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The indoor market will also be available starting late this summer.

- Fulton Street Farmers Market – 8 a.m.- 3 p.m Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
- Kalamazoo Farmers Market 7 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday. Starting in June 7 a.m.- 2p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- Grand Haven Farmers Market 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday starting May 11. Starting in June 8 a.m.- 2p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.
