Holland Business Robbed In Broad Daylight

73232745-08174155-400224HOLLAND, Mich- Holland Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Shaker Messenger in downtown Holland around 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The owner stated a man was in their establishment inquiring on items for sale near the front cash drawer and while the employee was in another room briefly, the suspect opened the cash drawer and took an unspecified amount of cash and fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a light skinned Hispanic male, medium build, approximately 25 years of age with a thin beard and a crew cut style black hair. The suspect was wearing a blue shirt, baggy khaki shorts, and a baseball hat and he fled on foot south bound from the business towards the intersection of  9th and River Ave. after placing the cash in a pink plastic bag that he had with him when he entered the store.
