OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A missing Blendon Township woman has been located.

Tuesday afternoon, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said it was seeking information on the whereabouts of Karen Lynn Visch, 47, of Blendon Township. Visch left her home at 8 p.m. Monday headed to Cascade Township in Kent County. She then left a phone message with a friend at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday but had not returned home.

Visch had an appointment with her 19-year-old daughter this morning that she missed. She is on medication that she does not have with her and her family was concerned about her well-being.

Visch is described as 47 years old, standing 5-feet-10 and weighing 210 pounds.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown corduroy jacket and a salmon colored scarf. She is driving a white four-door 2010 Honda Accord with Michigan license plate 9KXU85.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said foul play was not suspected.

Later Tuesday evening, the Sheriff’s Office announced that Visch and her vehicle had been located in Midland County, that she had suffered a medical event and had been taken to a Midland hospital where she was reunited with her family.
