GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — If you’ve enjoyed West Michigan weather for the last few days, you won’t be disappointed by the forecast through the middle of this week.
Tuesday and Wednesday will remain fairly similar in that we have an upper-level low spinning slowly off to the southeast. On the outer fringe of this system, we may see some intermittent thin clouds. Moisture will increase slightly to the point that there may be a few pop-up showers isolated south and/or east of Grand Rapids in the afternoon, especially on Wednesday.
Rain chances become more widespread Thursday through Saturday as a pair of systems move in. The stronger cold front will arrive on Saturday and pull some cooler air back into the region.
We’ll be watching the timing of rain chances closely, with huge outdoor events like the Fifth Third River Bank Run and the Tulip Time Muziekparade coming up Saturday.
