Lawrence, Mich. — A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition following a motorcycle crash.
It happened Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. on St. Joseph Street in the Village of Lawrence.
According to Michigan State Police, the rider of the motorcycle tried to avoid hitting another vehicle that did not yield to him, and failed.
The Lawrence Fire Department and Van Buren EMS treated him at the scene before he was taken to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
St. Joseph was closed between 4th and 5th streets for about three and a half hours for an investigation.
