Wednesday Forecast: Holding Steady Rest of the Week

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A cold front will pass out of West Michigan early in the day Wednesday, but it will do more to keep temperatures steady than to actually create cooler weather around the region for the rest of the week.

The front did generate a few scattered showers and thunderstorms late Tuesday into early Wednesday, but those were already clear of the majority of West Michigan by daybreak.

Dry conditions with abundant sunshine are expected through the rest of Wednesday, as well as Thursday and Friday.  One computer forecast model is hinting at a few showers or thunderstorms developing late Friday, but only a brief period or two of rain is expected through the weekend.

Rain chances will increase early next week; you can check out the rest of the 7 Day Forecast on the Weather page.
