GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — An event to remember Kevin O’Brien, who died from injuries suffered in a fall from a stairwell at the B.O.B, is planned for Thursday night.
Friends of O’Brien posted a Facebook event page that says the “memorial event” will be held at Diamond Hall, 435 Diamond Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
O’Brien fell four stories early Sunday at the downtown Grand Rapids entertainment complex, the second fatal fall victim in a month at the B.O.B.
In addition to the event, friends are encouraging donations to the Buster Foundation Pit Bull Rescue in honor of O’Brien’s love of his dog, Diva.
