Warm Weather Continues

WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — For the sixth time this year, temperatures topped 80º across most of West Michigan on Thursday.

The first 80º high temperature of 2013 occurred on May 1. In 2012, it happened on March 14.

This image shows the high temperatures on Thursday. Along the lakeshore, temperatures were noticeably cooler. This is because winds were blowing from the lake, and the water temperature is around 50 degrees.

Clear skies will result in comfortably cool temperatures overnight, with most areas dropping into the 40s. In Northern Lower Michigan, however, there is a frost advisory in effect. Temperatures there will drop into the middle 30s.

The warm weather will last for a while. For the latest forecast, join us on FOX 17 News, or visit the weather page at http://www.fox17online.com/weather
