DETROIT, Mich — Hours after an Amber Alert was issued, 3-year-old Alonna Anderson has been found safe.
At approximately 7:15 a.m. Monday, Alonna’s father Stacey Anderson released her to her relatives. It happened at Grand River and Lasher, and Alonna was not harmed, according to the Detroit Police Department.
The Amber Alert was issued late Sunday night after Alonna was taken from her home near Northfield Avenue and I-96 in Detroit. Detroit Police say an unknown person put her in a vehicle while her father was assaulting her mother.
Alonna’s father, Stacey Anderson, as well as the other male suspect, are both still wanted for the kidnapping. Police were looking for an older-model green Jeep Cherokee.
Anderson, 29, is described as 5’9″, 165 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has a tattoo with a picture of a pit bull dog on his left arm and another with words on his upper back. Anderson was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, stone-washed gray jean shorts and gray Timberland boots.
