HUDSONVILLE, Mich.- A love for wine started out as a hobby for a few friends and has now grown into the Hudsonville Winery, 3768 Chicago Drive, with the addition of Pike 51 Brewing Company right next door.

Nearly 30 wines ranging from white zinfandel and merlot to fruity favorites like peach and kiwi pear. Every one of them is made right on site.

Food ranges from snacks like Fontina Cheese Dip and assorted cheeses to something a little more hearty, like a rosemary chicken sandwich and pulled pork barbecue Sandwich.

The history of Hudsonville inspired the owners, Steve Guikema, Ron Snider, and Ken Groenink, to add Pike 51 Brewing Company. Turnpike 51 was the former name of Chicago Drive. People are encouraged to sit in the tap room for a beer or wine from next door.

Hudsonville Winery will hold a fourth anniversary party celebration along with a first year celebration for Pike 51 on Saturday, June 1, from Noon to 11 p.m.. Along with the tasty beverages made on site, there will be music, raffles, and food specials.
