MUSKEGON, Mich .- Despite a soggy start to the season, Michigan’s Adventure in Muskegon will open at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for the 2013 season.
Along with the favorites that people have come to love, new this year for guests are the Lakeside Gliders ride, which is great for all ages. The Lakeside Gliders are flying, rotating, vehicles that spread out over a large area. They have a movable front wing and stationary rear wing, which allows the flight experience to be controlled by the rider.
Memorial Day weekend is packed full of wonderful events. On May 24 and 25, the park will hold its first ever Rock the Coast, two nights of Christian concerts with a price that also includes park admission.
Then, on May 26 and 27, a Tribute to Armed Forces offers free admission to military members plus six additional tickets at $21 a piece for family members. Proper ID will be required from active military ID, DD-214, or Veteran’s Administration hospital ID to qualify for the discount. Tickets must be purchased at the park on the day of your visit. This tribute will also take place on July 3 and 4.
