Shooting On Grand Rapids S.E. Side

Sycamore shootingGRAND RAPIDS,Mich. — Grand Rapids Police Tell FOX 17 News that around 4:45 on Thursday that one person was shot in the side and in the leg at Sycamore and Lafayette SE in Grand Rapids. According to police the injuries are not life threatening.

Police are now looking for silver SUV that may be involved in the shooting.

Neighbors tell fox 17 that a man was waking down sycamore towards Lafayette by himself when an SUV rolled up from behind and opened fire.

They heard several shots that sounded like firecrackers and then the SUV took off.
