DETROIT, Mich- Bad news for American Idol fans, the annual tour featuring the competition’s top singers won’t be coming to Detroit.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, producers announced that nine dates on the North American tour have been cancelled, and one has been rescheduled. A spokesperson for the Idol tour says the cancellations are part of “production scheduling changes.”
The American Idol tour features several singers from this year’s competition, including winner Candice Glover.
In addition to the Detroit show, the performances in St. Louis, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Tulsa, Broomfield, Ontario, Oakland and Las Vegas have been cancelled. The July 6th show in Rosemont, Illinois has been rescheduled for August 12th.
Fans who purchased tickets can get a refund from the place where they bought them. However, they won’t be reimbursed for the fees on the tickets.
