DNR Allowing Free Fishing For The Weekend

(WXMI)- Get ready to cast your reels! The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is hosting another round of free fishing where both state residents and tourists can fish without paying a license fee. Free fishing applies to all inland lakes and the great lakes for all species of fish.

The events are for the June 8 and 9 weekend.

Here is the link to the current list of officially registered 2013 Summer Free Fishing Weekend events. Some of the events do require pre-registration and/or the DNR’s Recreation passport.
