GRAND RAPIDS, Mich- Early Saturday morning a man ran off the road and crashed his SUV into a church, then fled the scene. The accident happened around 2:30 Saturday morning at the Brookside Christian Reformed Church off of Kalamazoo Ave. SE.
The suspect’s Jeep Liberty struck the building, damaging the outside wall and an office.

According to church official’s the suspect was found later in the morning wandering around, in the near by neighborhood and taken into custody.
Police are still investigating the accident.
