Holland Farmers Market Teams up with Preschool for Kids Activities at the Market

Posted

HOLLAND, Mich. — Children between the ages of three and 10 will have the opportunity to spend some time doing hands-on activities at the Holland Farmers Market on Wednesday.

The market has joined forces with Holland Christian Preschool to help kids create flowers out of recycled materials and rainbow gardens out of pop bottles.

Before the activity starts at 10 a.m., the Herrick District Library will host Market Story Time at 9:30 a.m.

Kids Activities at the Market is free and runs every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until noon. Each week, the market will team up with a non-profit or business to host creative and educational activities for the kids, and each activity day starts with Market Story Time. The event runs until Aug. 28 and children must have an adult or guardian with them.

The Holland Farmers Market is open every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 a.m. and will stay open until mid-Dec., rain or shine.
