Kentwood Police Arrest Two In Suspected Home Invasions

KENTWOOD, Mich. — Police arrested two of the three people suspected of breaking and entering into two homes Friday morning.

According to a press release from Kentwood Police, officers were investigating a break-in at the 1800 Block of Rondo Street when they received a tip of the suspects’ location at a second home invasion at the 1700 Block of the same street.

After locating the suspects’ vehicle, one was immediately taken into custody.  Police pursued the other two, but only one of them was caught and arrested.

The two taken into custody were Grand Rapids residents, one 22 and the other 23 years old.  Formal charges are expected to be filed by the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office Saturday.
