MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Michigan Court of Appeals held up the conviction of a 79-year-old Norton Shores man who forced a female acquaintance to disrobe, put on underwear he provided her and play pool with him after sexually fondling her.

Donald Martin Zuder was first convicted of the crime of criminal sexual conduct with a weapon in January 2012, and was sentenced to between three-and-a-half to 15 years in prison.  A three-judge appeals panel unanimously upheld that sentence on Wednesday, June 19.

The sexual assault first happened in 2006, and the victim reported it to police after Zuder sexually assaulted her a second time in 2009.
