062313lakeWEST MICHIGAN — A quiet but rather humid start to the day so far Sunday with mostly clear skies and calm winds however as temperatures start to warm this afternoon things could change quickly. There is a slight chance for some showers and thunderstorms to develop late in the afternoon thanks in part to the hot and humid weather. Showers and storms that develop this afternoon will likely stay fairly isolated with many areas not being affected what so ever.

The unsettled summer-like pattern continues into the first portion of next week as thunderstorm chances will be on and off for the next four days. A passing system Tuesday and Wednesday will bring the chance for some of those storms to be on the strong to severe side however it is still a few days out so we will keep an eye and update you on the changing forecast.
