BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — An autopsy has confirmed that the body discovered at Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri is that of missing Big Rapids man Fred Byrne.
The autopsy was completed in Mineral Area Hospital in Farmington, Mo. after his remains were discovered yesterday by a K-9 unit during a training exercise near where his car was discovered Feb. 13. There were no signs of criminal activity, according to police.
