WahmhoffCALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — The man who protested the rebuilding of the Enbridge pipeline by crawling into a part of the replacement segment, was charged with resisting and obstructing a police officer and trespassing.

Christopher Wahmhoff was bonded out of jail after being arraigned Tuesday afternoon.  A pre-exam is scheduled for his case at July 1 at 1:30 p.m.

Wahmhoff and several others protested the rebuilding of the pipeline after hundreds of thousands of gallons were spilled in the area in July 2010, polluting a 25-mile stretch of the Kalamazoo River.
