BLOOMINGDALE, Mich.– Two-year-old Caden Brown from Bloomingdale lost his battle with cancer last weekend, but his inspirational story continues both in the community and around the world.

Tuesday was Caden’s visitation at Bloomingdale High School, and dozens of people showed up to pay their respects. Many didn’t even know Caden, but wanted to let his family know how much he has touched their lives.

Caden was diagnosed with brain cancer in September 2012 and had several surgeries to remove a tumor, but it progressively got worse.

His dad, Jacon Brown says he never stopped fighting, “he was a warrior, he fought strong and now its time to rest.”

Thousands of people have been inspired by Caden’s story, and his ‘Prayers For Caden’ Facebook page growing by the minute.

One man bicycling across the U.S. to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer through ProJeKT 3000saw Caden’s story on Facebook and dedicated his ride through Colorado to him. At the border he left a memorial in his honor.

Brown said it has been absolutely amazing to see how many people have been touched by his son.

“I’m so proud of my son, to be so young and have touched so many people; it gives me faith and humanity to see so many people come out and show love and support for somebody they don’t even know,” he said.
