Virus Spreads at Michigan Int. Speedway During Tough Mudder Event

BROOKLYN, Mich. — Lenawee County health officials say that dozens of people have contracted a virus after participating in the Tough Mudder event at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn last weekend.

According to Lenawee County Health Officer Patricia Bourgeois, more than 20,000 people could be exposed to a norovirius that is causing nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and fever.  Most people had these symptoms about 24 hours after the race.
