072113radarWEST MICHIGAN — Showers and thunderstorms currently in Wisconsin will continue to move east across Lake Michigan tonight. Rain chances will increase as the evening goes on as showers move east and closer to West Michigan. Rain chances will be scattered in nature as storms will encounter quite a bit of dry air in place over West Michigan and may struggle to stay in tact as they move across the lake and on shore. What does survive the trip across the lake will be scattered, light and fairly brief.

Better chances for rain will increase through the day Monday and into Tuesday when a cold front drops out of Canada and moves south into the Great Lakes. Temperatures will fall below average towards the end of the week when more reinforcing cool air moves back into the Great Lakes but will likely be a welcome relief after a week of temperatures in the mid 90’s.
