COOPERSVILLE, Mich. — A Camaro was stolen from a Coopersville dealership Thursday afternoon after deputies say a man distracted a salesperson, stole the keys and sped off.
The suspect arrived at Betten Baker auto dealership, 930 O’Malley Dr., at 12:25 p.m. in another stolen vehicle, a Mercedes SUV stolen earlier in the day from a Ferndale dealership.
The car deputies say he stole was a red 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS with Michigan dealer plates 421D28. He is described as a medium-build black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, in his mid-30s and wearing a white t-shirt.
