Albion Man Arrested For Making Terroristic Threats

generic police lightsCALHOUN COUNTY,Mich. — A 33-year-old Albion man made threats to poison water supply’s and harm as many people as possible.  He also threatened to harm Judges and their families.  He made the threats to a Calhoun County Commissioner over Facebook. The threats were made in response to court actions over child custody issues.  The subject was located and interviewed by detectives.  During the interview the suspect admitted to making the threats but stated he made the threats in frustration and had no intention of acting upon them.  The suspect was taken into custody and lodged at the Calhoun County Jail.  A Warrant was requested for the charge of Terroristic Threats.

The Office of the Sheriff was first notified of the threats on August 13, 2013 at approximately 0030 hours and the suspect was taken into custody at approximately 1600 hours on the same date.
