COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Environmental Protection Agency has denied Enbridge, Inc.’s extension request for their dredge pad sites in Morrow Lake and its delta.
The company asked that their dredging operation be extended into 2014 instead of the Dec. 31 deadline. Their Kalamazoo River oil spill operation will still continue in Comstock Township, though a company spokesperson said they still further discussion with the EPA.
