800px-Gentle_waves_come_in_at_a_sandy_beach (1)SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — Van Buren County has discontinued the beach advisory for South Haven’s South Beach after new testing for E. coli revealed that water quality conditions have improved.

Two beaches were initially closed Aug. 9 due to high E. coli levels, though the North Beach reopened soon after.
