KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a case of gun fire that damaged farm equipment.

The department got a call from neighbors around 3:30 a.m. on Monday that shots were fired, and responded to the area of TU Avenue and 8th Street.  The caller reported seeing a light-colored sedan.

They say that a farm irrigation system was damaged, and that the suspects were gone when they got to the scene.

FOX 17 spoke to police, who say this is not the first time the farm has been targeted.  They were also the victim of copper thefts earlier this year.

They ask anyone with information to call the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer.
