TEXAS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The pedestrian killed last night after being hit by multiple vehicles while running across I-94 Monday night has been identified as 51-year-old Tammy Sue Hartman.
Hartman and her sister were reportedly hitchhiking to California when they began arguing and were kicked out of the vehicle. Hartman attempted to cross eastbound I-94 in Kalamazoo County’s Texas Township. She was struck by a semi and an MDOT truck and pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
