KALAMAZOO, Mich. – A former security guard at Loy Norrix High School appeared before a judge on Wednesday. He’s accused of sexually assaulting one of the teenagers at the high school and getting her pregnant.

21-year-old, Anthony Williams, began working at the school in January when he was 20-years-old, according to court documents. He was fired from the district in April.

After listening to the probably cause hearing on a DVD, new details about what led up to the alleged assault revealed that Williams began texting the victim, asking if she wanted to come to his house back in March.

“Well she did and got picked up by him at her house,” a detective said.

According to the DVD, Williams didn’t live alone in the house that he brought her to.

“At the time, Anothy’s wife was gone, along with his child.”

The detective continued to say that Anthony began flirting with the teenager once they arrived to his house, then engaged in “un-consensual sex” with the girl.

The detective said Anthony admitted to having a relationship with the girl during his employment with Kalamazoo Public Schools and that he also takes responsibility for her pregnancy.

Anthony was released on bond. He was ordered by the judge to stay away from the victim and asked not to seek employment where he’s in authority over any minors.

FOX 17 looked into his criminal history and found that Williams has no previous record.

He’s expected back in court on September 10.
