Newaygo Deputies Seek Armed Bank Robbery Suspect

CROTON, Mich. — Newaygo County deputies are searching for a suspect in the armed robbery of the Independent Bank in Croton Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect is a white male in his mid-twenties, 5 feet 10 inches tall between 170 and 180 lbs with long black hair.  He was wearing a black, gray and white plaid shirt and a cap at the time of the robbery.

According to a press release, he is believed to be driving a 2002 gray or silver Buick Regal with a blue bumper and a rust colored trunk.  The license plate on the car is 6GPX68.  He may be from the Big Rapids area, according to Newaygo deputies.

Anyong with information on this crime or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Newaygo County Sheriff’s Department at 231-689-7303.

    Saw this on another news site, A few people who ” know” the car or “think” they know the person, And even one who has a bad case of the “it could have been me” syndrome” who supposedly “worked” at the bank that it happened at, [even at her old window] So do these idiots call law enforcement? NO! they go to a social media site to put down their senseless comments- Un friggin believable!
